Sculpture and art by Shelomo Selinger, survivor of Auschwitz, designer of major monuments in Paris and Israel, lives in Paris. Selinger was a prisoner in nine concentration and death camps (including to Gross-rosen) and was found on a pile of bodies as was presumed dead by liberating Soviet Army soldiers and was (and saved by a medical doctor in the Soviet Army) in Theresienstadt. While he was not an inmate at Auschwitz, his drawings and some of his other artistic work reflect the strange world of the death camps.

Site created by request of the artist and with his permission from Paris.
