The visa to Brazil: One had to show $3,000 we borrowed it and took it back to the lender the next day. Got the visa, but went to Canada instead. I had a job promise for Rio, but did not speak Portuguese, also had enough of hot climates.
The cost for the choir at the Ohel Moishe Synagogue is $10.00.
"Schuhhaus Paris says that the Jr. partner is getting married, so the store is closed. The shoes are 30 Chinese dollars. There was an inflation. My salary each week was taken home in crates and changed in dark doorways into US dollars. It was less by the minute."
